Two decades in integrative medicine. Dr. Cen trained at Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine (M.D., Ph.D.), practiced in hospital settings in China, then moved to the United States in 2014 and became a licensed acupuncturist in California in 2015.

Her work sits at the seam between classical Chinese medicine and modern clinical frameworks — translating old concepts into language a busy Bay Area patient can actually use. She focuses on pain management and hormonal balance across women's life stages: cycles, fertility, perimenopause, menopause.

She completed her DAOM at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM), and has 13 first-author publications and more than 50 as a co-author. The clinic in Pleasant Hill is small on purpose — she reads every new patient inquiry herself.
